Shoot movies like you shoot photos

Create superb Full HD (1080p) movies at 30fps in MP4 format with fast, smooth autofocus thanks to the advanced Hybrid CMOS AF III. Touch AF in movies lets you create smooth, cinematic pull-focus effects, and Manual Focus Peaking shows sharp areas of the scene.

Given that Canon is a market leader in point and shoots and DSLRs, you'd expect them to dominate the mirrorless middle ground. Despite testing the waters with the EOS M and EOS M2, Canon seems to be no closer to a mature mirrorless strategy. But Canon desi...
  • Swing and a miss Any shopper could be forgiven for reading the M3's spec sheet and concluding that it's a great bargain. But the fact of the matter is that the EOS M3 falls far short of the sum of its parts. It's got a lot of impressive pieces of tech...

Part of the problem was that the EOS M behaved like an EOS 650D that was stuck permanently in live view mode – and the 650D's live view mode was slow and unwieldy. The Canon EOS 750D is actually pretty good in live view mode, so it bodes well for the EOS...

This 24 megapixel compact mirrorless camera is Canon's third try at the compact system form and it stands with the best. The kit lens is mechanically and optically fine, especially considering the price. The camera body is beautifully made and feels well...
